Best Practices

 

The Office of Technology at Carnegie Mellon collects, synthesizes and summarizes research and provide examples on successful models for Teaching with Technology.  Included on the site are White papers providing strategies for successful classroom practice.   PBS Teachers provides a collection of recent research on how technology integration and media can improve instruction and student learning. 

 

Web tools can provide motivation as well as serve as an assessment tool to follow student success.  Wikis, blogs, collaborative tools and other resources provide students with insight into future careers as well as the opportunity to enhance reading and writing. The resources below provide ideas for integrating web 2.0 tools in the curriculum.
